New Review from Seriously Reviewed…

Adelaide’s Adventure has received another review ~ this time from Seriously Reviewed. It’s short, but sweet:-), here’s an excerpt:

“The blurb is a tantalizing glimpse into the story, but really doesn’t capture the author’s amazing writing style nor does it embody the full spectrum of the tale.” To read the entire review click here.

The story itself received a score of 9.5, the presentation 9, for a grand total of 18.5 out of 20. Thank you to the folks at Seriously Reviewed! Now it’s time to celebrate with a glass of wine, or perhaps a mojito? Just one ~ and then it’s back to work on the WIP…

Night Owl Reviews A Day in April, 1944

Another review for A Day in April 1944 arrived ~ a gift for the new year ~ thanks Vee! Here’s an excerpt:

A Day in April 1944 is a short story chronologically one day (and night). The sex is hot and the character development good. It’s an enjoyable, quick erotic read.”

The full review can be read here. For more lengthy reviews, please visit the pages of Literary Nymphs, Fallen Angel Reviews, and Dark Diva Reviews, where A Day in April 1944 garnered 5 star reviews and recommended read status at all three sites!

Hopefully, reviews for Second Chances will be forthcoming:-). Still waiting for word on a submission while working on a new novella. Good luck to all the writers out there. Nothing feels as good as completing a work, getting it out there, then starting on something new. It’s a long road, but one that must be traveled. If you write, you know that it can’t be any other way.

The Dark Divas Recommend, A Day in April, 1944 – Rated 5 Delightful Divas!

This has certainly been an amazing Christmas!  Just when I thought it couldn’t get any better, I received another review for, A Day in April, 1944.  This time from Tammy at Dark Diva Reviews! This is what she had to say:

Tammy’s Review: A Day in April, 1944 by Ursula Grey is a rich, realistic love story that is set during the war with the Nazis. Ursula Grey did an excellent job of describing every scene in vivid detail. In fact, I felt, saw, tasted and experienced everything these characters did. A Day in April, 1944 by Ursula Grey is a book worth reading; it will really pull you in.

Rated 5 Delightful Divas and a Recommended Read.

I have much to be grateful for, this has been a wonderful year for me, and I look forward to 2010. For me, one of the greatest rewards of being an author is receiving validation that your work is appreciated and enjoyed by readers. Again, I thank the reviewers at Whipped Cream Reviews, Literary Nymphs, and Dark Diva Reviews! You’ve all provided me with a special gift this year…And so now I shall sit before my computer and go back to work, getting lost in words, and listening to the voices of my dear characters, who wish to come alive and who depend upon me to create their worlds. They are becoming impatient, so I must go!  Happy Holidays All!
